Watercolour Classes with Donna Bonin

The following classes will be held at Eastminster United Church, corner of Bridge St. E. and Herchimer, Belleville. Wednesdays 6:15pm - 8:45pm. These classes tend to fill quickly. Register with me at (613) 395-5959. All these classes are suitable for beginners and beyond.

Watercolour Basics for beginners only, or for those who want to go back to begin again.

Monday May 17, 24 & 31, 9:30am - 12:00pm, $42

A series of exercises will let you discover how watercolour works in a wide variety of applications.

Ink and Wash Landscapes

Monday May 24, 31 & June 7, 1:30pm - 4:00pm, $42

Pen and Ink Drawing Techniques will define the subjects followed by a loose application of colour. Beginners can make a day of it to use the morning techniques in a paiinting. during the lunch break, picnic on the dock, have a swim, or take out the canoe. For those choosing to do both courses, the fee is $80.

On Location In The Oak Hills

Wednesday July 14, 21 & 28, 9:00am - 3:30pm, $116

Each day we will visit a different location in the scenic Oak Hills to compose and paint a variety of subjects of your choice. Instructional emphasis will be on good composition, how to deal with painting in plein air, and painting techniques for your chosen subject. Because topics will differ each day, you may register for individual classes at $40 per class.

Autumn Colours at Bridgewater

October 1-4

Capture the stunning fall colours near Bridgewater in this four day workshop which combines plein air and studio painting. For details go to www.bridgewaterretreat.ca or www.donnabonin.ca.
