This is my 10th time teaching at Le Monastere, and sadly will likely be my last.

Le Monastere is a premier artists’ destination in Southern France. I am honored to be among the few North American instructors invited to conduct workshops there. A fully modernized medieval monastery, Le Monastere, is a unique small hotel in the heart of Limoux complete with an artist’ studio. Subjects to paint in the area are endless. There are winding old town streets, rivers and bridges, the Med- iterranean shore, the snow capped Pyrenees , pastoral farm lands, Cathar Castles, gorges, foothills and forests, and vineyards and flowers everywhere.  Cost for Le Monastere is $4200* This cost includes:—airport/hotel transfers—private van transportation to all painting sites, included sightseeing sites, included wine tastings, and any local festivals that may be on during our stay.—-all breakfasts and 12 sumptuous dinners with wine either in Le Monastere’s courtyard or at a selection of specialty restaurants. You will eat like royalty.— and my instruction fee.

* Not included is air fare, lunches which we purchase at the local market and “brown bag” to painting sites, 2 dinners, and entrance to Carcasonne which is an optional tour. Prebooking begins in August, a prebooking deposit of $100 will hold your spot until official registration and booking in September of 2023.
